John is and will always be an intense, curious, passionate individual.
John’s first career was a professional musician—a journey that brought him into intimate contact with both the seductions of the spotlight and the darker currents of his own self-destructive patterns.
In the quiet space of his therapist’s office during the transformative season of becoming a father, John began the slow work of uncovering the deeper truths buried within his shadows.
It was there John found his path: a guide to walk with others as we gather the forgotten fragments of ourselves. On that walk, John’s work is to help reveal the hidden gifts concealed within pain and open you up to a more expansive, meaningful life.
John holds a Master’s in Clinical Psychology and a Doctorate in Jungian Psychology. He is the host of The Sacred Speaks, a podcast approaching one million downloads, where conversations on psyche, soul, and the sacred unfold with depth and intention. Alongside his wife, Leila-Scott Price, John co-founded The Center for Healing Arts and Sciences—a home for integrative healing rooted in both science and spirit. He contributes to the Esalen Institute and serves as President of the Board at the Jung Center of Houston.
